A quick fix to try if you updated to WordPress 5.3.2 and your Divi theme builder stopped working….
Okay, I have no idea why this worked but it did work for me. I host on GoDaddy, which automatically updates WordPress for me. After updating to WordPress version 5.3.2, my Divi builder stopped working on my production site.
After experimenting with different versions of PHP, and several texts and calls with GoDaddy, I created a staging site by pulling from my production site. Oddly, I found the Divi builder still worked on my staging site. So I pulled my staging site back to my production site, and the builder started working.
So if your Divi editor has stopped working – try this:
- Create a staging site on your host server or your own computer.
- Make the staging site just like your production site.
- Pull your staging site back to to replace your production site.
I have no idea why this worked for me, but it did. I hope it works for you too.
